Article Marketing - The New Way To Advertise

The web has moved from its original base to what is known as Web 2.0 and with this move marketing and advertising has evolved greatly. Article marketing is now largely used in place of tradition advertising. This is the writing of various articles instead of an advertisement as we know it. Many Internet businesses are now using this as their main form of advertising.

It can be fun to write articles for article marketing. When you are interested in the topic of the article, the task can be even more enjoyable. In addition to being fun, you can increase your profit, which is always a plus and can greatly improve the quality of your life and your ability to enjoy it.

It is not that difficult to compose copy for article marketing purposes. What you need to pen unique articles is to be conversant with the subject and to be creative in your approach to writing about it. Since we all differ, it's easiest for each person to compose text on a area of his or her particular interest. If your commercial enterprise is your own most preferred discussion topic, it should be a breeze for you.

The most vital element in article marketing is fresh copy. If you don't post something new which is interesting, informative or controversial, your audience has no incentive for coming to your website. You have to engage them emotionally if you want to make them purchase what you are trying to sell.

To achieve this, one should be sure in include useful information and titles that will draw readers. Once a person is visiting your site the job is half complete. Web surfers tend to be in a hurry and want information without being required to sift through other information that does not interest them. Articles should strive to provide readers with everything they need to know in a concise manner.

Article marketing can be an enjoyable pastime. Composing articles on a variety of subjects will broaden your vocabulary and your knowledge base. You will learn more about the subject you are writing about. Your income will grow when people see you as an expert in your field.

Online surfers are a unique and ever expanding audience. The online arena has lead to news methods of marketing. Once of these is article marketing. This type of marketing is a new concept to most people. Rather than a traditional ad, unique articles are written to draw people to a particular site. With unique content and interesting subjects, these articles are intended to increase traffic. By using creativity, a site has a lot of control over its ability to increase traffic, and in turn, increase profits. They can publish as many or as few articles as deemed necessary to keep traffic at an optimal level.

The Truth About Co-Registration and How It Works

Popularized by the Pipeline Profits promotion, Co-Registration has captured a lot of attention recently. This article will give you the facts about Co-Registration.

Co-Registration is a way of buying targeted subscribers and leads to your newsletter/ezine from a 3rd party service in bulk.

The leads are gathered by websites who are offering something in return from people opting in to that website's newsletter.

It basically involves having your subscription offer listed alongside other publications' offer, so that when someone signs up to the other newsletters, he or she is given the option of signing up for yours as well without needing to re-enter his or her personal information.

Well known Internet Marketing Expert Dr Raplh Wilson has said that, "Co-Registration is a widely-used approach to increase the size of your e-mail lists. Co-Registration works this way: After completing a subscription form or upon leaving a website, visitors are invited to subscribe to one or more e-zines. If yours is listed among these and the site gets a substantial amount of traffic, you'll begin to receive a number of subscriptions. "

Let me give you an example: If you go to a website like NYTimes.com, and register for a their free content, you will have to give up your information such as your name, email address, phone number etc.

Once you're registered, you will then be taken to a page that shows you some other offers and newsletter you can subscribe to as well. This is where your subscription offer is listed, and the chance for the surfers to subscribe to your list. The website will then send you the subscribers that have chosen to subscribe to your offer for you to add to your list.

Hotmail does something similar as well when you sign up for a free email account.

When you are buying Co-Registration leads, you are basically buying a ready made opt-in email list that belongs to you. You can make your Co-Registration leads into a regular list that knows you and buy from you.

Many people think that Co-Registration leads are some sort of SPAM, therefore do not use it. They are NOT SPAM. Co-Registration leads are 100% CANSPAM compliant and safe. They are made up of opt-in subscribers, not gathered by some sort of software that craw the web looking for email addresses.

The reason I highly recommend using Co-Registration to build your list is because it easy, quick and cost-effective. It is also highly targeted, because you are only paying when the person joins your list and having seen your offer and the value you're offering.

There are many Co-Registration services and lead suppliers on the web that you can buy Co-Registration leads from. Some of these services gather leads from those offer pages with other publications on websites such as NYTimes. Some of these Co-Registration services use their own offer page to collect leads.

Make sure that the subscribers you are receiving from your Co-Registration services are targeted, and are looking for what your list is offering. No matter how good the leads are, if they are not targeted, they will be useless.

Ensure that the lists they are providing are fresh. Ask them how old the leads are. If they are more than 30 days old, do not use them. You do not want to buy cold lists; you may run into trouble. Just like any regular lists, you want to mail to the freshest list you can get your hands on. Fresh lists are more responsive.Make sure you have permission to send emails to the Co-Registration leads. You do not want to be receiving nasty SPAM complaints. Some leads suppliers provide you leads that are being forced to join. These people are usually being paid by money to join, or somebody who wants to win the sweepstakes. Do not ask for leads from these services and suppliers.

Ask your lead supplier how many times the list of leads has been sold. Some services sell the list to 5 different people, causing the list to become less responsive. If the list has been sold more than 2 times, do not buy from them.

I highly recommend Co-Registration services and suppliers that are integrated with 3rd party autoresponders, as this allows the subscribers to subscribe DIRECTLY and INSTANTLY onto only your list, meaning you would not have to wait to be sent leads from the suppliers for you to upload into your autoresponder.

You should always make sure that you can get your email address as soon as possible (what else is better than instant?), as you want to start making money from them right away. The longer you wait, the more likely these addresses become outdated, the higher the chances of getting spam complaints.

I also recommend that you should use Co-Registration services and suppliers that use double opt-in to decrease the chance of spam complaints.

Another idea is to approach ezine publishers directly to see if they are interested in a Co-Registration agreement. You can arrange a deal with the publishers to put your newsletter offer on their registration "thank you page" and you put their offer on your thank you page. Just make sure that you are not in direct competition and only share a similar target market.

You can go to Google to find a list of newsletter/ezine directories.

No matter which method you choose, just ensure that you are getting quality email addresses, and ensure that your offer is placed next to publications that share similar target market with you. You don't want your offer being grouped with a bunch of newsletters offering free golf tips if your newsletter is about home business opportunities.Co-Registration leads usually cost anywhere between 15 cents and $1 per subscriber, depending on where your source is, your niche market, and whether it is double opt-in or single opt-in.

The subscribers can be worth far more than $1 if you calculate the value of these potential customers.

You will be able to get a feel on how much each subscriber is worth after sending out few promotions using this formula (it's only an estimate): For subscribers generated from Co-Registration only, you can usually get around $1-$1.5 per subscriber (varying from niche to niche), spending only around $0.3 - $0.4 per subscriber.

That's around $1 profit per subscriber. What if you can buy a co-registered list of 10,000 or even 100,000? That would be a profit of $100,000!

When used correctly Co-Registration leads are a great way to build your list fast!

Article Marketing - An AMAZING Technique That Pumped My "Click-Throughs" From 0.82% to 15.64%

OK. Let me ask you a really SIMPLE question. Why do you write articles? Is it to:

  • amuse yourself?
  • give you something to do when you are lonely?
  • present yourself as an authority on something?

Well, maybe. But for the vast majority of article writers the ONLY reason is to drive traffic to your website. Correct? Correct!

So, I would assume that you would be interested in a little thing that I have discovered that has shot my click through rate from a paltry average 0.82% to a very healthy current average of 15.62% - and in some instances even way beyond that. Yeah? I thought so.

Oh, damn it! Let me brag for a moment, some of my articles are averaging 28% to 35%. Do you have that? Want to know the secret to it? Yeah, I thought so.

Before I even start let me say one thing that should be as obvious to you as the nose on your face - write about something that people are INTERESTED in. Why would you write about the catalytic converter on the Gumball Space Machine? Huh? NOBODY except some geek will be even remotely interested in that. If you got even 10 views I would be AMAZED. And if you got even a single click-through I would be DOUBLE AMAZED. In fact, I'd be shocked!

Obviously the most popular subjects are those that are sexually oriented (surprise, surprise). But not everybody is interested in writing about having a giant horse penis or shaving all their pubic hair off or having a blazing affair with a 48DD hooker or Johnny Donger. Excuse my attempt at humor. I'm sure you know what I mean.

Pick a subject that has good interest and that you have some expertise in. Also, write about something that your website promotes. Now, having said that, I don't have a website about "Article Marketing" but I do have a website about making money and, after all, we write articles to get clicks to our websites to sell products and I do have an excellent e-book on... Anyway, on with the show...

It's all there for you in the statistics. Pretty much it will be staring you right in the face if you care to take a look.

You should try to get at least 30 articles up before you can start analyzing your statistics. The more articles the better. When you have over 100 articles the results will become more glaring. Personally, I have over 250 articles and they have been syndicated all over the web in all sorts of languages. So, I have a good spread to look at. Here is what I did...

First, go to any article site that collects statistics. A good one is (ahem) Ezine Articles.

Look at your top performing articles and compare them to your worst performing articles. You'll find them easy enough. Look at the subject of the articles, the headline, the teaser summary, the keywords, the number of views, the click through rate and the resource box. What is the difference between your best articles and your worst? I'll tell you one of my stats.

My worst article - 1304 views for ZERO clicks - yep - a big FAT nought.
One of the best - 2667 views for 400 clicks - wow! - a 15% click-through rate!

Now what does that tell you? I'll tell you what it tells me...

The headlines and keywords were both pretty good. The teaser (or summary) was also pretty good. I know all that because, in both instances, I got pretty good viewing rates and I continue to get more views. So what else? One article enticed 400 people to want to know more while the other enticed nobody. The loser article was just a tell all, feel good piece of writing. Also, the resource boxes were drastically different between the two.

So, you see, by examining these statistics you can learn a lot about what will encourage people to click through to your site for more information. If you ignore it you will stay in the click-through doldrums.

Examine your statistics. Look at headlines, the teaser summary, the keywords, the article body (copy) and the construction of your resource box for the greatest number of click throughs. Replicate what works and chuck out anything that just hangs around like a stale bottle of beer. You will be amazed, like I am, at what you can refine when you know EXACTLY what is working for you and what isn't. My click-throughs have risen dramatically from 0.82% to 15.62% and some are much higher.

You can do this too. It just takes a bit of analysis to see what causes the statistics that you receive.

Like I said, I don't have an Article Marketing website. But I do have a wealth creation website so if you like what I have presented in this article and want to know how to make a lot more money and increase your personal wealth then click HERE

Breakthrough Article Marketing Secrets - Put Your List Building On Steroids

In this article I am going to go over why I think that article marketing is a better way to build a list than many other ways. I am sure that this will convince you that it is a really good way. I have a really high traffic site. It gets between 15,000 and 30,000 visitors a month. Initially I added a subscription box near the top and only got a few leads a month. I then proceeded to add an unblockable popup and was getting roughly 10 to 15 subscribers a day.

Now if you think about those statistics they do not mean much. At least 15,000 visitors and very few actually subscribe to the newsletter. To me a much more efficient way of building a list is to have a mini site. Basically what this consists of is a squeeze page and a sales page. Yes, you read that statement right. Why do you want to make your life complicated?

This method works extremely well with article marketing. you write articles and submit them to all the major article directories. You then include a link to your squeeze page in your bio. When somebody reads your article they will most likely click on your link going through to your squeeze page.

Now what really makes this a powerful list building technique is that unlike search engines where the visitor accidentally stumbled onto your web page there is a very good chance that the reader has read several of your articles first. So this means that there is a much bigger chance that they actually will purchase something from you.

Advanced Article Marketing Secrets - How To Monetize Your Article Traffic

I am sure that if you are reading this article then it is likely that at some stage you have tried article marketing. If you were anything like me you were probably very excited at getting free traffic. With the high cost of advertising especially Google Adwords it can become very challenging driving traffic to your website and actually make a profit.

However, if you do not have a system to automate your profits you will be wasting a lot of time and losing a lot of money. Let us look at the different ways that you can monetize your website from article traffic.

The first and most important point is that you need to choose a tightly focused niche market. The more narrow your niche the easier it will be to create profits. Let us look at the main reason why. It is easier to dominate a niche market as the volume of sales is too low to justify a big competitor from entering that market. This kind of market is ideal for a small home based internet business. The only requirement to earn a lot from this is to offer exceptional customer service so that you can gain loyal customers that will buy over and over again from you. This is where the big profits are. You are unlikely to make a lot of money from your first sale.

You need to drive all your traffic to a squeeze page which will capture your visitor's email address. The primary reason for this is that it is unlikely that your visitor will buy the very first time. You need to first build a relationship with your subscriber. You can do this by offering a 5 day email course of value. After this you can sell to them over and over again.

I suggest that when you create your products that you sell you price them in the following manner which will maximize your sales. The very first product should be a cheap one. For example it could be a $7 product. This is so that your prospect can sample your work. There will unlikely be any buyer resistance for a product this cheap. Just make sure that you over deliver so that your customer will be satisfied. You then can have additional products increasing in price for example $27, $47, $97 and $147. By then you would have built enough trust with your prospects for them to purchase more expensive products from you.

What Can a 13-Year-Old Kid Teach Us About Article Marketing?

Yesterday I met a 13-year old boy with a devilish grin who told me he "makes a little money off his classmates sometimes."

"How so?" I asked, intrigued.

"I sell them candy," he said. "Mom buys the Twizzler economy boxes from Cosco and then I mark them up to like 50 cents each."

"Get out!" I said. "Kids actually buy them?"

"Yeah," he said. "And I also smash up Lifesavers into little bits and put them in Ziplock baggies and sell those too. People like the fact that the candy is in a different form. I convinced them that it feels kinda funky in their mouths and they pay for it!"

"Wow," I said. "You were born to be in sales!"

So, article marketers, why am I telling you this story?

Because that kid already knows something that every one of us should be thinking about and putting into practice every single day:

That in order to make something re-marketable, all you have to do is "transform and repackage it" a little bit.

Then, go out and convince people that what you have is pretty neato, and watch them become dazzled - and actually BUY IT for more money than they could get it elsewhere.

Can you transform and repackage your articles, recycle old ideas, and then re-market your valuable brand name, over and over on the internet?

Why of course you can.

One article categorized under one single topic has the potential to take on hundreds of different forms!

Be like that 13-year-old kid with a natural mind for marketing.

Take your article content and smash it up into little tasty bits of info.

Put little piles of info bits into article baggies...

and then sell some newly packaged article candy to your hungry buying prospects.
